Prayer of the day
An original prayer inspired by Psalm 91 to meditate on God's protection and rest in trust.
Lord, You who are the safe refuge of those who trust in You, I come to find shelter in Your presence.
When fear draws near and the path ahead feels uncertain, remind me that I am not alone. You promise to be close to those who trust in You, and today I anchor my heart in that word.
Guard my steps and my thoughts. Cover my day with Your peace and teach me to rest in You, even when I cannot see what is coming.
I am not asking for a life without struggle, but for the assurance that You will hold me up. May I dwell in the shelter of Your presence, may my trust grow with each morning, and may fear lose its grip before Your nearness.
In Your hands I rest. Amen.
