A short prayer of care and gratitude for this small life that already lights up so much.
Lord, we look at this baby and recognize a gift.
You placed him here, with his first breath and his first smile still to come. Watch over the steps we will learn to take beside him. Grant health, courage, and listening hearts to all who care for him each day.
We are in no rush for our own outcomes; we only want to serve this present well, who breathes open before us. Make our hands and our words a safe place where your light can grow in peace.
