Prayer for Brazil
Pray for peace, integrity, and public responsibility in the life of the country.
Lord, You are the foundation of every community and the God of justice that grows from mutual respect.
Look upon Brazil with kindness. Give wisdom to everyone who holds public responsibility, that they may promote the common good with integrity, attentiveness, and service. Protect those who defend justice, and strengthen those who work for peace without publicity or violence.
Make every citizen a builder of dialogue. Teach us to defend the dignity of all, to care for the most vulnerable, and to choose paths that protect life and trust.
May our country become more a shared home than a stage for division.
May Your peace dwell in families, neighborhoods, institutions, and hearts that are already weary of fear and discouragement.
Help us begin with what is within our reach: honest speech, a caring gesture, and the decision not to let injustice pass by in silence.
Amen.
