Prayer to Close the Day with Gratitude
Pause and review the day with calm, thanking what was lived well and entrusting what remains uncertain.
Lord,
as this day settles, I review what it has been. I give thanks for what nourished my soul: a kind word, a gentle silence, the choice to walk gently.
I receive the weariness, the things left unfinished, the worries I place in tomorrow without hurry.
I need not carry everything all at once.
Receive this heart still beating with gratitude, eyes heavy from having seen enough.
Tomorrow brings its own light.
Tonight, it is enough to rest.
