Prayer to Overcome Fear and Find Courage
A prayer to face fear with courage and find safety, trusting we never walk alone.
Lord, I come to You with my heart tightened by fear.
You know what frightens me — what I can name and what I only feel. Before what terrifies me, I feel small and without strength.
Remind me that I do not have to face any of it alone. Give me courage for the next step, even when my legs are trembling. Let Your peace take the place of panic and Your presence come where I feel most abandoned.
Teach me to trust that I am held — not because nothing hard will happen, but because I never walk alone.
Calm my mind, steady my hands, and bring safety to my heart. May I find in You the refuge where fear loses its weight. Amen.
