Prayer for an Important Decision
Ask for discernment to decide with calm, responsibility, and trust in God.
Lord, as I face this decision I must make, I come to You with an open heart and thoughts still uncertain.
Quiet the hurry that pushes me and the fear that holds me still. Give me clarity to tell what is essential from what is fleeting, and the responsibility to consider how my choices affect me and the people around me.
Help me listen carefully to the advice of those who care for me, recognize my limits, and seek help when I need it. May I decide with the peace of someone who trusts in You, the courage of someone who owns their choices, and the humility of someone who knows they do not control everything.
I place this decision in Your hands and ask that Your discernment light my path. Amen.
