A Prayer to Trust in God's Promises
A prayer to anchor your heart in Scripture's promises and rest in God's faithfulness.
Lord, I open Your Word and find promises that seem too big for my small faith.
You said You would never leave us nor forsake us. You said Your grace is sufficient for us and Your power is made perfect in weakness. Yet I confess that when hardship comes, my mind doubts what my heart wants to believe.
Help me to trust not in what my eyes see, but in what Your lips have spoken. Teach me to hold Your promises as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. When uncertainty comes, remind me that Your Word stands forever. When fear speaks louder, quiet my thoughts with the certainty of Your care.
I want to learn to rest in Your faithfulness — not because my circumstances are easy, but because You are faithful. Let my trust be anchored in You, not in the answers that have not yet come.
