Psalm 91 Prayer for Your Family
A family prayer to ask God to cover each member of the home with His peace and protection today.
Dear Father, You are the safe refuge for all who come to You in trust. Today I place my family in Your care.
We watch the children running through the house, their footsteps echoing down the hall, and I ask You to guard them in every corner of this day. Where there is laughter, bring Your joy; where there is silence, fill it with Your peace.
You do not promise that life will be free of difficulty, but You promise to be with us in it. So when fear draws close, when a report brings worry, when night brings restlessness, we remember that beneath Your shadow we all dwell in safety.
May Your angels serve as guardians for us—not to shield us from everything at once, but to walk with us, to bring us near to You when the road feels uncertain.
Bless every one I hold dear: give them courage for the choices of this day, wisdom to listen to one another, and the assurance that wherever they are, they are in Your hands. May this home be a place of welcome, forgiveness, and love.
