Prayer for a Directed Start to the Day
Begin the day by entrusting your heart to God and asking for one clear step.
Lord, as I open my eyes to this new day, I place before You all that is within me: my plans, my questions, and the silence that has no name yet.
Like a king who seeks Your word and leans in to listen, I adjust to Your rhythm. I do not rush toward a path I cannot yet see, but I trust the step I do know: the step of listening first, acting afterward.
Steer my heart toward what is useful, not merely toward what seems urgent. May each choice today rise from Your peace and not from my hurry. And when I lose my way among so many roads, turn my eyes back to Your voice, steady and clear.
Amen.
