Prayer Inspired by Psalm 19
Contemplate God's creation and ask for wisdom to guide your words and your steps.
Lord, the heavens declare Your glory with every dawn and every starry night. The vastness You created speaks without words, and yet the silence is full of You.
Open my eyes to see Your work in the smallest details: in the light breaking through clouds, in the breeze stirring the leaves, in the firmness of the earth that holds us up. Everything that exists reminds me that You are present and that Your care has no end.
When confusion fills my mind and my choices feel uncertain, guide me with Your wisdom. Teach me to speak with truth and to stay silent when silence is more just. May my words be as the psalmist asked: pleasing before You, steady, and full of grace.
Receive my thoughts before they are spoken and shield my mouth from what might wound. Let Your Word be the food of my heart and the light that guides my steps. Amen.
