Prayer of Psalm 139: Knowing the God Who Knows Me
A prayer to discover the presence of God who knows us deeply, and to trust in His identity and love.
Lord God, You know me completely. I know Your presence goes before me even before I call. You ordained my path before I was born; You have full knowledge of every step I take.
My body is a reflection of Your love, my soul, a breath of Your life. Teach me to recognize that I belong to You, and to live with the certainty that You are closer than the air itself.
No hidden thing escapes Your gaze. My words, my thoughts, my doubts—all pass before You openly. Free me from the fear of judgment, for You did not come to judge me, but to transform me with love.
May I always discover myself in Your spirit, always in Your grace, always in Your light. May I know myself so that I may glorify You, and in knowing You, may I live with a fitting gladness.
