Prayer Against Malice
A prayer to respond to fear without feeding accusations, asking for peace and discernment.
Lord, I bring You the burden of feeling targeted by malice.
You know what I saw, what I heard, and what reached me. Faced with ill intent, my first reaction is to fear, and then to accuse. Today I ask for discernment before I judge.
Guard my mouth from names I cannot prove and my heart from suspicions that only spread more darkness. If there was real malice, give me clarity to see it and courage to act with justice, not revenge. If it was only a misunderstanding, keep me from condemning someone who does not deserve it.
Calm the fear that makes me see enemies everywhere. Where there is real harm, let me step away; where there is carelessness, let me forgive; where there is danger, let me seek help with composure.
Lord, I am not asking for evil to vanish as if by magic. I am asking that my response not become another form of malice. Watch over my home, my thoughts, and the people I love. Let me respond without feeding accusations. Amen.
