Prayer Before Surgery
A prayer for serenity and trust before surgery, placing medical care in God's hands.
Lord, in this moment before surgery, calm my heart and my mind.
Receive the fear I carry and replace it with peace. Bless the hands of the doctors, the nurses, and everyone who will care for me. May every step be done with attention and skill.
Give me trust to surrender what I cannot control and serenity to welcome the care I receive. Sustain the people I love, who are with me in this time of waiting.
May I rest in Your presence, certain that I am not alone. Amen.
This prayer offers spiritual support and does not replace medical evaluation, treatment, or clinical care.
