Seeking purpose does not mean waiting for a mysterious answer to every detail. Many decisions are discerned through clear principles: truth, love of neighbor, responsibility, wisdom, and willingness to correct the path.
Four useful questions
Does this decision move you toward the person you want to become? Who will be affected? What do mature and trustworthy people say? What facts still need to be checked? Pray honestly, but do not use prayer to escape reality.
If the decision involves violence, abuse, health, money, or legal matters, seek professionals and protection networks. Faith does not ask anyone to remain in danger.
