Saint Anthony, faithful friend who walked beside Jesus and welcomed those who came seeking, pray for me and for my family today.
On this day, I place my home and every person I love under your protection. Let the Lord enfold you with His peace, and where there is affection, let there also be care. Do not let the heart of my home flee from what hurts or from what I still do not understand.
Teach us to recognize the Lord's presence in the simple gesture of someone who loves. When restlessness knocks at the door and the mind races away, remind us of your example: to pray is simply to stay silent and let God speak.
Lord, give us wisdom to discern what comes from heaven and what comes from the heart. Let me know how to listen before answering, welcome before judging, and trust before trying to solve everything by myself.
Saint Anthony, who seeks the lost, help me also find what within me needs to be brought into the light. Amen.
