Prayer for Balanced Prosperity
A prayer to ask for provision with wisdom and trust, without promises of enrichment.
Lord, source of all good, I bring before You the needs I carry and the desire to live with dignity.
You know every effort, every pursuit, and every night worry has accompanied me. I do not ask for wealth or abundance that takes me away from You — I ask for what is enough to care for myself and for those who depend on me. Teach me to manage with wisdom what I receive, to plan with calm, and to spend with awareness.
Guard my heart from greed and envy. When my eyes turn away from what others have, return them to Your presence, where I find the rest that material things cannot buy. Make me generous with what I have and generous to those who need.
Let me understand that true prosperity is not measured only by what I accumulate, but by the peace that dwells in me, by the generosity that moves me, and by the trust that You provide for every real need.
