A Prayer for Teachers
Give thanks and pray for the teachers who teach, guide, and care. A short prayer of gratitude and support for those who educate.
God, thank You for the teachers who cross our paths.
Thank You for those who teach with patience, who explain again without growing weary, and who believe in us before we believe in ourselves. You know the tiredness of those who prepare, correct, and welcome others day after day.
Bless the hands that write on the board and the ears that listen to questions. Give them health to keep going, joy in what they do, and the recognition they deserve.
Lord, sustain the teachers who feel worn out today. Send people who care for them as they care for so many. May they never lack purpose or rest.
For every teacher who has already gone, keep the memory of the good they did. May their example keep teaching long after the classrooms are empty.
I place all teachers into Your hands. Amen.
