Prayer to Face Debt with Wisdom and Faith
A prayer for wisdom, responsibility, and provision when facing debts and financial hardship.
Lord, I come before You with an open heart, carrying the weight of debts and financial worries that follow me day after day. I feel the anguish when I think of what I owe and the struggle to balance what comes in and what goes out. I can no longer hide how tired this makes me.
Good Father, I ask for wisdom to manage with discernment every resource I receive. Teach me to tell apart what I need from what can wait, to plan with clarity, and to resist the pressures that push me to spend beyond my means. Give me courage to review my expenses with honesty and humility to ask for help when I need it.
God of provision, open doors I cannot yet see. Bless the work of my hands and grant me opportunities for dignified income. May I not lose hope before the bills that pile up, but trust that Your sustaining hand walks with every step I take toward stability.
Free me from the shame that keeps me silent and from the despair that freezes my action. Teach me to honor each commitment on time, to negotiate with integrity, and to walk step by step toward financial freedom.
I know my responsibility is real and that faith does not replace daily effort. May I combine trust in You with discipline, patience, and perseverance. And even on the hard road, may I recognize Your presence guiding and holding me up.
