A prayer for the recovery period — patience, trust, and hope, one day at a time.
Lord, in this time of recovery, I come before You with a body that needs care and a heart that seeks strength.
Give me patience to respect the pace of my healing. Teach me to welcome the help I receive, to notice small steps forward, and not to lose heart when progress seems slow.
Quiet the restlessness that pushes me too fast and the worry that steals my rest. Help me find in You the calm to wait and the courage to do what is within my reach.
Bless those who walk beside me through this — family, friends, health professionals. May the good they do for me be returned to them through Your kindness.
May each day be a trusting step toward what lies ahead. Amen.
