Prayer for Caregivers
A brief prayer to strengthen the one who cares for a loved one, asking for strength, patience, and rest.
God, You who watch over each detail of the life of those I love, You also see mine.
Today I rose to care for another, yet I forgot to remind myself that I, too, need to be cared for. The task never ends, fatigue speaks loudly, and my heart grows heavy with so many worries.
I do not ask for all mysteries to be solved right now. I only ask not to carry everything alone. Strengthen my breathing in tight moments, my patience when routine weighs heavy, and help me remember, even in the midst of service, to pause and rest.
Bless the hands that help, the voice that instructs, and the silence that soothes. And when I feel weak, remind me that to serve is not to carry alone—it is to let Your light shine through me as well.
