Prayer for children to fall asleep
A gentle prayer to close the day with children, embracing rest and night with peace.
Loving Father, as this day comes to an end, I thank You for everything good we have lived. Obedience, play, learning, and kindness — all received from Your hands.
I ask You to welcome my child in this moment of rest. Drive away fear, calm the restless heart, and let them know You are present even when the lights go out.
Grant peaceful sleep, free of nightmares, and may tomorrow bring energy for a new day. Let them grow knowing they are loved, protected, and guided by You.
Watch over this home as well: the parents, grandparents, and everyone who cares with devotion. May night bring rest to all, and may tomorrow begin with gratitude. Amen.
