Prayer to Keep Evil Away
A short prayer asking for protection, calm, and discernment without dramatization.
Lord, I take refuge in You.
When something threatening draws near, keep me from rushing and from fear. Give me discernment to see clearly, courage to act justly, and composure so I do not destabilize what is around me.
If there is harm near, keep it at a distance without drama. If insecurity is present in my life, bring light to it. If someone close to me needs care, let me be a presence of good judgment, not of panic.
I do not ask for visible miracles. I ask that my heart remain at peace, that my steps be prudent, and that I know to seek help when necessary. Watch over my home, my thoughts, and the people I love.
May Your protection be quiet, practical, and present. Amen.
