A Prayer After Communion
A thanksgiving prayer after the Eucharist, carrying Jesus’ presence into the rest of the day.
Jesus, now that I have received Your Body and Your Blood, I do not want to rush away. I thank You for this encounter, even when I cannot understand it fully.
Receive my silence as my answer. Transform this Communion into peace for my thoughts, kindness for my words, and care for the person beside me.
Help me stay in this moment instead of fleeing into tasks. May Your Love continue in me as a presence that listens, blesses, and does not abandon.
Thank You for this food. Thank You for not letting me leave empty-handed. Today, I take You with me.
