Evening Prayer to Close the Day
A prayer to close the day with gratitude, release what weighs, and rest in peace.
Lord, the day is ending and I turn to You.
Thank You for what I lived, for what I learned, and even for what did not go as I hoped. Receive what still weighs on me: the words I spoke and the ones I left unspoken, what I did and what I put off for later.
I let go of what I can no longer solve today. Keep my home, the people I love, and the cares that trouble my mind.
Let me rest knowing I do not have to carry everything alone and that the night is meant for rest. Amen.
