Prayer Against Envy
Ask for discernment and protection to keep your heart free from envy and live in peace.
Lord, I admit that sometimes comparison steals my peace and envy takes up space it does not deserve.
Give me discernment to see what is truly mine and what is a desire alien to my path. Teach me to look at another's life without diminishing myself, and to recognize the value of what I have already received from Your hands.
Protect my heart from the poison of comparison. When envy knocks at the door, may I name it honestly and ask for Your help before it takes root.
I do not want another's success to become my sadness, nor my lack to turn into bitterness. Help me celebrate the good that comes to others and trust that Your providence also reaches my life.
Guard my thoughts, purify my intentions, and give me a grateful heart — one that can rest in who You are, not in what I lack.
