Prayer Before Traveling
A short prayer to place the journey in God's hands and travel with peace and serenity.
Lord, I am about to set out, and I come to You before I leave.
I place the road, the vehicle, and every step ahead into Your hands. Watch over those traveling with me and everyone we may meet along the way.
Receive my restlessness. When the unexpected arrives, give me the calm to act wisely and the trust to keep going.
May this journey lead to good and to encounter. Bring me home in peace, and teach me to rest knowing I do not walk alone.
Amen.
