How to Pray the Rosary: A Prayer Through Mary
An original prayer for praying the rosary with devotion, meditating on the mysteries of Christ's life with Mary.
Lord Jesus, I come to You through Mary's hands, this rosary between my fingers and my heart full of intentions.
Teach me to pray not only with my lips, but with my soul. May each Hail Mary be a sincere step, not an empty word. May each mystery I contemplate enter my life and transform my gaze.
In the joyful mysteries, teach me to welcome Your will with Mary's trust. In the luminous mysteries, open my eyes to recognize You in the everyday. In the sorrowful mysteries, help me stay with You in the hour of suffering. In the glorious mysteries, give me the hope of resurrection.
When my mind wanders and the beads slip past without attention, do not turn away from me. Receive my will to persevere, even when my prayer feels poor. You know the thirst behind each repetition.
Mary, Mother who kept all things in your heart, teach me to meditate as you meditated. Bring to Jesus these intentions I carry and cannot quite name.
May this rosary not end in my hands, but bear fruit in my life. May I leave this prayer more like You — gentler, more trusting, more ready to love. Amen.
